Chigasaki Story

Tomoharu is a self-conscious student working in a beachside inn. Outgoing Karin and conservative Maki arrive at the inn a few days ahead of a wedding party for innkeeper Risa. While Karin attempts to woo Tomoharu, Maki reconnects with a college professor who has brought a group of students to the area for a field trip. In the run-up to the wedding day, old relationships are tested while new ones are formed… This is a charming, understated, and very funny film from first-time writer/director Takuya Misawa.
