Love Is Hard For Otaku
Yuichi Fukuda, 2020 (114m)
At her new company, Narumi Momose, a 26-year-old office clerk, is reunited with her childhood friend Hirotaka Nifuji. Hirotaka is a good-looking and competent businessman, but is also a committed gamer otaku (someone who likes anime, manga and video games). Narumi, however, is a closeted otaku. Narumi, who deeply fears being exposed as an otaku, hides her true nature. Hirotaka is the only person she can be herself with. When Hirotaka suggests that they start dating, Narumi agrees. They look forward to being a happy otaku couple - but their romance runs into unexpected obstacles!
