All the Long Nights

Sho Miyake, 2024 (119m)

All the Long Nights

Misa and Takatoshi are each living with an often debilitating condition: Misa with intense monthly PMS, and Takatoshi with frequent panic attacks. Both have found it hard to hold down jobs and relationships due to their intense mood swings. When they both wind up working in a small company that creates science toys and events for children, they strike up an unlikely but formative friendship. Together, they navigate through the often harsh social realities of living with their respective conditions. Director Sho Miyake’s (Small, Slow But Steady) latest film is a profound, heartfelt character study about belonging and companionship.
