During his subway commute, a man receives some unexpected news from his ex-girlfriend. Overcome with panic and uncertainty, the man wanders away from the crowds and winds up in a strange underground corridor. When he follows the sign to the exit, however, he ends up back where he’s started. It becomes apparent he’s stuck in a loop, and he must spot strange ‘anomalies’ in the corridor to escape. Some anomalies are much easier to spot than others, however, and it transpires the man is not alone in his quest through this unsettling space… Based on an acclaimed Japanese independent video game, Exit 8 is a bold and entertaining psychological horror film, loaded with memorably weird and creepy moments.
